Who We Are

The Barnegat Light Taxpayers’ Association is an important member of the Barnegat Light Community. One of our many roles as an association is to inform our members about specific issues that may affect their taxes as well as general information helpful in enhancing the quality of life within our beautiful shore community. HELP IS STILL NEEDED! Two (2) lifeguards still need housing for this 2020 summer season! Here’s the original request from the BLBP Facebook Page: The Ted Barber Lifeguard House will be off limits for the summer. We believe this is an appropriate measure taken to ensure the safety of the borough’s lifeguards. However, this does leave a handful of our veteran lifeguards without housing for the summer. Therefore, we are reaching out to the community to see if anyone would be willing to offer housing to some of our lifeguards. We recognize that this is a unique situation but we hope that with your help we can provide the same level of staffing and services to our beach patrons as we have in years past. (NOTE: If you can only offer a shorter term for housing a lifeguard – for instance 2 weeks or 4 weeks – then the BLBP will piece together a couple of homes for the lifeguards.) If you are interested, please send us a Facebook message and we will reach out to you as soon as we can. Thank you in advance.
