Ocean County Library System Offering Creativebug

Ocean County, NJ — Want to get more in touch with your creative side? Beginning on Jan. 2, Ocean County Library resident cardholders now have access to art and craft educative resource Creativebug.

Creativebug is a website and mobile app that offers thousands of free online art and craft classes, available anytime, anywhere. Its videos are produced by renowned artists and creative experts. Class categories include sewing, quilting, paper, knitting, crochet, food, jewelry, kids and more.

It also features chapter divisions, notetaking tools, 20-second rewind, saving classes and recommendations among other amenities. And since the classes never expire, subscribers can start and stop projects at their own pace.

“Our instructors are impressive artists and creative experts,” says Creativebug on its website. “They bring with them a lifetime of practice, tried-and-true teaching methods, and the added gift of being able to articulate every step of how to knit, stitch, paint and create the projects you see throughout our site.”

People can join Creativebug by logging onto theoceancountylibrary.org or by calling 732-349-6200.
