In the spirit of Valentine’s Day, the OCC Repertory Theatre Co. will present the Pulitzer Prize-winning play “Love Letters” at the Jay and Linda Grunin Center for the Arts from Feb. 13 to 16.

“Love Letters,” written by A.R. Gurney, is the story of two characters – Melissa Gardner and Andrew Makepeace Ladd III – as they sit side by side at tables reading the notes, letters, and cards they have sent to each other over nearly 50 years. They discuss their hopes and ambitions, their dreams and disappointments, and the victories and defeats that they have shared throughout their separated lives.

Terri O’Neill and Bob Maehrlein star as Melissa Gardner and Andrew Makepeace Ladd III.

Performances are as follows: Thursday and Friday, Feb. 13 and 14, at 7:30 p.m.; Saturday, Feb. 15, at 8 p.m.; and Sunday, Feb. 16, at 2:00 p.m.

Tickets are $15 for adults and $12 for seniors or children.

The Grunin Center is located on the main campus of Ocean County College, on College Drive in Toms River.
