The Long Beach Island branch of the Ocean County Library in Surf City will host “New Jersey Resources Solar Program” on Monday, April 1 and Wednesday, April 10. Both programs start at 6 p.m.
Nicholas Ianello, a solar energy consultant with NJR Home Resources, will teach homeowners how to generate their own clean energy instead of paying for traditional electricity.
“When you are a customer of Atlantic City Electric or JCP&L (Jersey Central Power and Light), you are subject to their rate increases,” said Iannello. “By seeking alternate sources, such as solar power, you can keep the costs down. I’ll be explaining various cost-saving options.”
To register, call the branch at 609-494-2480.
