“The mission of the Long Beach Township Police Department is to provide the highest quality police services to our residents and visitors,” notes the department website, lbtpd.org. “This will be accomplished through the development of exceptional personnel and resources.”
For more information on either open house, call Officer Megan Keller at 609-361-2097.
The township police, in partnership with the LBT Recreation Department, also have a Harvest Hayride planned for next month, from 1 to 3 p.m. on Oct. 28. (Rain date is Oct. 29.) The event features a hayride to the beach to “pick” pumpkins, followed by pumpkin painting, refreshments and music at Bayview Park.
