With Thanksgiving a week away, the countdown to Christmas is on, and so is the stress of trying to find the perfect gift. Luckily, holiday beach badges are the ideal gift for beach-lovers everywhere. On the Island, most towns are offering their badges now through December on a first-come, first served basis.
In Barnegat Light, holiday beach badges are now for sale for $32. The cost of the beach includes a gift box.
In Beach Haven, which held a contest this year for its holiday badge design, the badges are $30 and can be picked up beginning Dec. 1.
Three hundred holiday beach badges are available in Harvey Cedars for $32. They can be picked up at borough hall.
Long Beach Township’s beach badge office will be open seven days a week from Nov. 23 through Dec. 31, except Christmas Day, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Holiday seasonal badges are $30, regular seasonal badges are $30, senior seasonal badges are $5, and veteran seasonal badges are free.
Ship Bottom badges will be on sale during the Dec. 1 Christmas parade and at borough hall. Badges are $37 and include a gift box. Gift certificates will also be available for $30.
And in Surf City, holiday badges are available at borough hall during regular business hours for $32, pickup only.
